You've stood in front of a piece that stopped you completely, then had to ask the practical questions anyway: will it hold up on that wall, does it fit the client's brief. Is this something you love, or something you can actually specify?
That's the gap Goma Design Studio works in.
The Artist Answers to No One
No brief starts our work. A piece begins with clay, mineral powders, our own paper-based compound — and the mark that results can't be repeated. No two pieces are the same.
The Designer Makes It Work
Once a piece exists, it has to work in your room. We finish everything with a waterproof coating, develop our sizing in-house, and build a pilot first for custom orders — photos and video before anything ships.
Where Most Objects Choose One
Mass-produced pieces solve function with no hand behind them. Fine art asks a room to accommodate it. A considered space usually wants both.
Why We Don't Choose
We're a small studio — paper wall tapestries, clay wall plates, lamps — made for designers who need a piece to be both unrepeatable and trustworthy in a real space.
